The Murmur

The pediatrician noticed a heart murmur while we were in the hosptial when Stefan was born. We were not too worried about it as many babies have a murmor. However, at his one week check up the murmor was still observed, so he was referred to a ped cardiologist when he was 9 days old. They conducted an ehco and discoved that Stefan has critical/severe pulmonary stenosis. We went directly to Children's Hopsital of Michigan for a cardiatric cath ballooning procedure to open the up the valve. Unfortunetley, Stefan has not seen much improvement from this procedure and suffered a stroke in two parts of his brain as a result. We hope the damage from the stroke/seizures is minimal and will be following up with neurologists at Childrens. Stefan's heart condition is being closely monitored until a decision is made how to proceed with surgery. We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for sweet Stefan!

First week home!

All the G Boys had a busy week. Blake was hanging around, while Stefan was laying around!







Family time was enjoyed by all!

And then there were 4!

We went to the Tiger game for our last outing as a family of 3!
