Blake-isms
Blake has been saying some pretty funny things lately, that I thought I should write down...
First, he asked me the other day, "Mom, why do you have boobs? Are they for milking someone?" I wasn't too sure how to respond to that one HA HA!
Then the other day we had one of those momements of a child's pure honesty coming out...We have a neighbor who is notorious in the sub for leaving their dog out 24/7, rain, shine, snow or blizzard. Yes, the garage door is cracked so the dog can go in there. But it is not a quite dog and has barked for two plus hours straight in the past with them home and doing NOTHING about it. We even had to call the police in the middle of the night during freezing temperatures because the dog was howling to get inside, and that is just wrong. Ok, that is the back ground...here is what happened.... We were playing on the swing set and she was in the back yard. She said hello and we just chatted for a minute.
She then says to Blake -
Did you go for a Bike Ride?
Yes. Why do you always leave your dog outside? He barks all the time.
Oh, he's not out all of the time.
Yes he is.He likes to be outside. Why don't you let him in at night when its dark?
Oh we do honey. No you don't, he is always out there, he's barking, why don't you let him in?Oh he likes to be out, and we let him in at night.
No, he wakes me up all of the time. He's always out there in the morning barking. Why don't you let him in?
Oh he isn't outside all night and in the morning.
Yes he is. He is always outside. Why?
Ok, we will have to let him in more.
Yeah. SO, needless to say I was a bit embarassed. It took my 3 year old to tell the lady what I should of told her years ago!
"Bumpa needs a side car for his motorcycle, then Gracie and I can ride with him. Maybe he can get one for Christmas."
"Do you have baby pictures of Bumpa? Was he making the silly face he always makes when he was a baby?"
